With the imminent opening of a new warehouse in Scotland to facilitate next-day delivery for the company’s Scottish retailer customers, the team at MyLife knew it was time to move to a more sophisticated solution.
MyLife specialises in supplying around 120 bathroom retailers across Ireland and Scotland with premium brand sanitaryware, shower enclosures, bathroom furniture, brassware and associated products. The company was established in 2013 and employs 30 staff, including a field sales team. Director Andrew O’Brien said, “We supply high specification products at very reasonable prices and back this up with the highest levels of customer service.”

Andrew said that the stock management and forecasting functionality within K8 will help his team keep fast-moving lines in stock and manage the three-month lead time offered by some of MyLife’s suppliers. Additionally, the ‘Kits’ function will support special promotions when a basin is offered with, for example, a choice of taps. K8’s integrated General Ledger means there is no need to run any other accountancy software.
